Bobby Van’s Grill marks the return of the powerful New York City chop shop to the downtown D.C. area but with a new twist. This eclectic New American Steakhouse now boasts a slightly more casual family friendly atmosphere as well as catering to the Washington politician. This 536-seat D.C. destination is fully loaded! There’s four private, intimate and upscale dining rooms with their own bar and bar services. Two 40-foot long bars can be found with friendly bartenders serving strong drinks and even stronger conversations. The main dining room boasts views of both New York Avenue and the plush marble atrium of the adjoining building amidst its beautiful water fountain. This is an ideal place to meet for power lunches, family gatherings and late night dinners in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

This place is excellent across the board with service and food. They tend to be very service oriented and considerate.The classics are always very good here, steakhouse orders will be consistent. It's not cheap, but certainly tasty for a treat.

Service was good. But very overpriced. I ordered a steak med rare it can back more medium than rare. I paid 49.00 for this steak and thats what I got, a steak no sides of any kind. Really?! Sorry to say I have made better steaks on my back yard grill.Disappointing

Hi Herb, We have one lb Maine lobsters that we traditionally served chilled as a lobster cocktail. We carry 2 and 3 lb lobsters at our 15th street Bobby Van’s.

Hi Marc, I am so sorry that the mailbox is full. unfortunately the groupon voucher for the 809 15th street location is only redeemable at that location.

Casual is fine, but you may feel more comfortable in business casual or one step up from casual.

Parking isn't easy. Parking garage is fairly close though
